OK - here we are one week after the trading started and I now have TWO trades to report.  Actually, the first one came in just hours after I posted last Monday, but my wife and I left town for 6 days, and I wasn't able to make the actual trade until just this morning.  So, Neil Johnson, from Melcor Developments in Lethbridge, contacted me and offered an Apple iPod Shuffle 2GB for the Symphony's golf towel. (Neil called it a crying towel because of the way he golfs)  Note: this is part  of  "Trade Stream C".  Melcor ( a land development company in Lethbridge) and Neil are great supporters of the Symphony so I immediately agreed to the trade.  See the attached video and pictures.  The iPod is still wrapped in it's original container and the one picture is off the Apple website.   I'm now looking for a trade for the iPod Shuffle.
The second trade was for the Symphony pen.  "Trade Stream B".  My friend and great restauranteur Tony, offered a Georgio's $40 Gift Certificate Package TRADED for the pen. I love Tony's restaurant, he's a GREAT cook, so when he offered this package for the pen, I jumped at the opportunity.  (Again, see the pics.  Tony did not want to go on camera, so his head waiter, Thomas did)

SO NOW - I have 2 new trades.   An Apple iPod Shuffle 2GB ("Trade Stream C") see pics below
and a Georgio's $40 Gift Certificate Package ("Trade Stream B") see pics

FYI - I still have the Lethbridge Symphony Fridge Magnet to trade as well. (Trade Stream A)

SO contact me if you're interested in making a trade for any of these.   kandsgibson@gmail.com

   TUTALS TRADES
(Trade Up To Assist the Lethbridge Symphony)

This little project will be called the ‘TUTALS’ TRADES

It is fairly simple. I am starting with 3 items.  I’d like someone to trade for any 1 of the items.  I will continue to have 3 trading ‘streams’ going on at all times.   So, chose one of the items below (there are two pics of each item to help you decide), and make me a trade offer.

The idea is to raise funds and awareness for our Orchestra, so let your spirit of philanthropy soar and offer something nice to trade.

Note, the trade item you’ve offered might not be chosen.   I hope to get a variety of items offered, and I’ll make the choice.  I will then advise everyone what the latest trade items are that are being offered.
At an appropriate time, probably around the 15th trade, (depending on how it’s going for each of the ‘rings’) I will have an on-line auction for each of the final items.  All the cash raised from the sale will go to the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra.

When you make a trade, you will get the item you’ve traded for as soon as possible after I receive your item.  (Proof of ownership may be required – if you are going to offer a 2005 Rolls-Royce, I’ll need to know you actually own it! )

I want to thank everyone publicly for their trades; however you can remain anonymous if you wish.

Obviously I’d like to make as much ‘noise’ about this as possible to raise awareness of the TUTALS TRADES and the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra.
Please feel free to pass the TUTALS TRADES links on to your friends.

I’m sure there may be questions, so I’ll do my best to answer them.  I hope to make this whole process as transparent as possible.

Remember, all the profit at the end of these auctions will go to the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra in Lethbridge, Alberta.  The Lethbridge Symphony is aware of this project and does support it.

Some questions:
The question of who pays for shipping has come up. (if shipping is required)?
I guess the best answer to this is I’ll see what happens with trade item.
If  we’re not talking about a large item, I would like the trade person to pay for his shipping and I’ll pay for mine.
When do the trades take place?
I’m expecting I may get a few items from which to chose,  so there is no definite time period for trades.  That said, I don’t want this to drag out too long. The best answer is, we’ll just see how this plays out.

NOTE – I have thought of getting input from you and maybe voting on the trades, (engage the participants!) but I need to figure out how to do that.
